In the context of the DISCO/ANR and MnMs/RNSC projects (see Sections 8.2.1 and 8.2.2 ), in collaboration with Ariane Bize (Irstea), the team has developed an individual-based model for the degradation of one cellulose bead (dozens of micrometers in diameter) by cellulolytic bacteria [ (http://www-sop.inria.fr/members/Fabien.Campillo/software/ibm-cellulose/ )].
